Influence of Ga-substitution to the structural and magnetic properties of (Mn,Fe)-=SUB=-2-=/SUB=-O-=SUB=-3-=/SUB=- bixbyite

To study the dependence of properties ternary oxides (Mn,Fe,Ga) 2 O 3 with bixbyite structure on composition, temperature dependences magnetization and ac magnetic susceptibility two single-crystal samples different compositions obtained using flux method were analyzed. A detailed was carried out X-ray diffraction analysis, changes in structural parameters depending composition The dc Fe 1.1 Mn 0.76 Ga 0.14 0.65 0.26 bixbyites have been studied. Despite qualitatively similar behavior properties, significant differences also found, despite a small difference Mn/Fe/Ga ratio under study. It is shown that both compounds experience successive low-temperature phase transitions from paramagnetic at T=20-32 K as lowered. Calculations Mydosh parameter for detected showed degrees ordering Keywords: transition metal oxides, transitions, spin glass state, bixbyite.
